Overview
LovyDays is a relationship companion app that helps couples keep track of shared days, memories, streaks, reminders, widgets, and quick touch interactions. This Privacy Policy explains what information LovyDays accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares.
Information We Collect or Store
LovyDays may collect or store the following information when you use the app:
- Anonymous Firebase Authentication identifiers used to connect two devices as a couple.
- Couple pairing data, including couple IDs, member IDs, pairing tokens, token status, timestamps, and relationship start dates.
- Streak and activity data, including daily activity status, quick touch events, touch types, timestamps, and receipt status.
- Local profile information entered in the app, such as names, relationship dates, theme choices, and avatar choices.
- Local memory information, such as memory titles, descriptions, dates, and media attachment references stored on your device.
- App analytics events that help us understand feature usage and improve the app.
- Crash reports and diagnostics that help us detect and fix app stability issues.
Camera, Photos, Videos, and Notifications
LovyDays may request camera access to scan QR codes for couple pairing. Camera data is used for that feature and is not used for advertising. If you add memory media or avatars, the app may access files that you select so the app can display or save them locally. LovyDays may request notification permission to send relationship reminders, streak reminders, and quick touch notifications.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide app features such as couple pairing, streaks, quick touches, widgets, reminders, and memories.
- Sync selected couple-related data between paired devices.
- Maintain app security, prevent invalid pairing, and keep relationship data scoped to paired devices.
- Analyze app usage and improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Investigate crashes, errors, and technical problems.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Couple-related data may be shared between the two paired devices that belong to the same couple. We use Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics, to provide authentication, cloud sync, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Data Security
We use Firebase and Android platform security features to help protect data in transit and at rest. Firestore data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Local app data is stored in the app's private storage where supported by the Android operating system. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Cloud data used for pairing, streaks, and quick touches may remain in Firebase unless it is deleted as part of account or data deletion handling. Pairing tokens are intended for temporary use and may expire or be marked as used.
To request deletion of cloud data associated with your LovyDays use, contact us at ltdat.oplai@gmail.com. We may need information that helps us identify the relevant couple or device record before deletion can be completed.
Children's Privacy
LovyDays is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete the relevant data where appropriate.
International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including locations where Firebase and Google service providers operate.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of LovyDays after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you accept the updated policy.
